STRATEGY

We help businesses grow by developing innovative products and services that deliver meaningful experiences to customers and employees - and make viable, financial sense. Through ethnographic deep dives, we translate users’ innate needs into groundbreaking business opportunities. Leveraging powerful, visual communication tools like Empathy Probes, Journey Maps, and Product Roadmaps, we build alignment quickly and effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

PRODUCT + SERVICE DESIGN
We bring ideas to visual life through intentional, meaningfully-designed products and services. Utilizing human-centered mindsets like Build to Learn, Fail Early Fail Often, and Co-Creation, we collaborate with customers to design concepts - from low-fidelity prototypes to market-ready solutions. Through in-person and remote user testing, we rapidly and cost-effectively validate hypotheses and fine-tune products and services.

INNOVATION WORKSHOPS
From 1-hour Lunch ‘n Learns to 5-day Deep Dives, we guide teams through the Design Thinking process. We design and facilitate custom workshops to educate participants when and how to implement user-centered tools, kick-start a new project, or think broadly about new opportunity areas.

Marney Boughan

Marney was fortunate to train under David Kelley, founder of IDEO and Stanford’s d.school, as an early adopter of the human-centered design process. She has 15+ years experience using design thinking to solve complex problems for both for-profits and non-profits, in start-ups and global corporations.

She holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, a Masters in Engineering - Design & Innovation from Northwestern, and a BS in Product Design from Stanford.

Marney lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three young kiddos, and a giant Goldendoodle named Colt.
